Hunt Military Communities Mgmt., LLC ("HMC"), a subsidiary of Hunt Companies, Inc. ("Hunt"), is honored to announce that is has launched a new nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization. The Hunt Heroes Foundation ("HHF") focuses its efforts on supporting the military men and women who live in our homes and neighborhoods and the communities where Hunt employees live and work.
HHF encourages growth and development by funding projects that address community challenges in the areas of health, education, housing and overall community support. Its focus is to improves the quality of life for military families who sacrifice so much day-in and day-out.
"We are so excited to introduce our new nonprofit, Hunt Heroes Foundation," stated John Ehle, President of HHF. "With frequent deployments, long Temporary Duty Stations, and other challenges facing our military families, this new organization will help ensure that we can support our residents and communities throughout a variety of outlets."
HHF will help bring a focus on supporting our residents and employees in reaching their best potential through partnerships, donations and activities. HHF will strengthen the bond between Hunt, its residents, employees and communities. Currently, HHF has an association with wear blue: run to remember a national nonprofit running community that honors the service and sacrifice of the American military. Through generous donations, HHF has recently donated more than $20,000 to wear blue and has helped orchestrate more than 20 Memorial Day runs throughout the nation.
Hunt Heroes Foundation also sponsors an annual Helping Hands Day, which last year supported more than 30 local nonprofit organizations.
In just one month since HHF has been formed, the foundation has raised more than $55,000.
"The overwhelming support demonstrates how committed we really are," concluded John Ehle. "We look forward to seeing how much Hunt Heroes Foundation grows and how many people and communities we can help."
